The ravenous crowd for the food court has formed such a long line that it's actually backing up all the way to Your Chocobo's Paradise. These people are ravenous!! People, if any of you are listening, keep in mind that chocobos are not food, so don't think of trying to bust in and supplement your feeding spree with a snack of chocobo. I see the looks in your eyes, but I have Cinna from the Tantalus Temps and he's shown that he's not afraid to swing that hammer.
Meanwhile, Ruby has doing a great job of helping me to keep the chocobos themselves in check, while still keeping up with the legitimate business.

Before he went on his quest, Laguna put in a request to breed his chocobo, Quiver, with my chocobo, Bijou. The result was a yellow female baby chocobo. He's agreed to let me keep it as the first chocobo bred from the racing chocobos. I don't know that I'll necessarily race her, but I think I'll hang on to her and maybe train her as a security chocobo, if she's fit for it. Oh, and I've decided to call her Karla.
Thankfully, things have calmed down at Your Chocobo's Paradise after the recent incident. I want to thank Moogle Kupo - he was at work like gangbusters the other day, cleaning up the place and getting everything back in shape.

I decided to disable the Speck so that Vincent could cast Silence so that the chocobos could have some peace from the dating show. But some kid came into the shop and was playing with a lightning spell. I called for help and I managed to get it doused with Water, but now there's damage from both the lightning and the water. Fortunately, no chocobos were killed or hurt, but they're very shaken up. Oh, and I've reenabled the speck-- thankfully that show is finally over. Meanwhile, Celes is apparently having some sort of psychotic episode, so I'm without my assistant manager. And Gau remains out questing. The temporary staff are doing the best they can, but they just don't have the knack with the chocobos. It seems it's all up to me...

Following Lucrecia's advice, I've decided to take on apprentice sheep-herding. It's been pretty fun-- just an hour a day or so.
Sheep-herding has been a lot more relaxing than Your Chocobo's Paradise lately.

The chocobos have been rather riled up by this game show thing that keeps coming on the intercom. I don't think they really care too much for that theme song (to be honest, I don't think much of it either.) I don't suppose anyone knows a good Silence spell?

Celes and Gau are both on the Earth Quest, so things are fairly quiet here. I'm looking forward to getting things officially started with Gau once the quest is over. And I'm sure that Celes will be glad to be back here with the chocobos once the quest is over. Celes seems like she's been kinda distracted lately...
I hope everybody's adjusting well to their new apartments. I don't really understand much what goes on between my new neighbors, Squall and Rinoa. The termites around here are pretty bad-- I hope that this exterminator quest I heard about will take care of some of that. This is a very nice little village, though. I haven't found any chocobos yet, but there are a whole bunch of sheep here! We've been getting along just great and I've been thinking of expanding into caring for sheep. It seems they've had some problems with herding recently, so I brought over one of the chocobos and it turns out that they make excellent sheep-herders.
So what does everyone think? Should I maybe start tending sheep on the side?

Well, this is it. I have bid farewell to the Chocobo Farms. I'm really going to miss them, and the chocobos there. After some thought, I've decided to move to this Istory Falls. It seems like a very folksy sort of place and I hope I can make it work for me. I'll take Istory Falls - Leviathan - L1.

In the form of Gau, who I will be taking on as a new employee once I get back from the Wind Quest. Apparently Gau is a bit, um... enthusiastic, but I'm counting on his love for the wild as a potential asset to Your Chocobo's Paradise. Celes, you know him fairly well, right? I get the feeling I'll be counting on your help to some degree to get him up to speed. Setzer, his current employer, has also offered his help with any questions, and I thank him for that. My thoughts turn now to the quest for the Wind Crystal. I'm a bit worried by some of the danger it may present, but I'm sure I can count on my teammates. At least I hope I can. In the meantime, a certain welcome warmth has returned, following the restoration of the Fire Crystal, so I offer my thanks to everyone who was on that quest.

Providing she's willing, Celes Chere will be the new assistant manager of Your Chocobo's Paradise! Celes has been doing such great work, so this is a no-brainer. She seems to be a true natural with the chocobos and has been doing a lot of hard work here in Your Chocobo's Paradise and throughout the mall to benefit the store.
So it seems that there was something to this Awakening and this Beginning after all. Not that those ridiculous flyers were any help in finding out about that, but at least they made a tasty snack for the chocobos.

I received some visits from some people with flyers. One said "The Beginning" and the other said "The Awakening." Since they didn't say anything, I couldn't figure out what to do with them. Just then, Chocouna came up and snatched one ("The Beginning") out of my hand. I tried to pull it away, but before I could stop her, she ate it! To my surprise, it seems to have given her a speed boost! So I tried feeding the other one to one of the chocobos at the shop and it gave her a boost in intelligence. Astounding! So it would seem that these pamphlets do have a use after all. Those of you that are into chocobo racing, don't get to excited, though. It doesn't seem to have any tangible effect when it comes to the racetrack, but I think it'll provide some benefits for Your Chocobo's Paradise and if anyone has a personal chocobo. I think I heard that everyone is getting these, so if you don't have a chocobo of your own and you want to "recycle" your flyers, why not drop them off here? Celes, if you wouldn't mind, talk to anyone that you can and see if you can get us more of these flyers.
